Picture a rusty wire cutting a delicate piece of flowing satin and you are close to imagining the sound of Sydney’s cat on a hot tin roof, Emma Deans, now launching her much-anticipated solo career as Daughter of Dynamite.

Emma is no newcomer to the scene, having toured Australia at 14 performing African and gospel songs. She is best known for her songwriting and for five years touring with nationally acclaimed acapella group, Kaya.
